Once you log in to the Web Portal, click on Settings, then Dining Room, then Edit. If you are setting up a dining room for the first time, the screen will be blank. If you have already loaded a layout, the tables and objects will appear. This will be your Default Dining Room Layout. There are three options at the top of the page:
Options – To use these functions, click on a table in the layout. Use the “-” and “+” to decrease or increase the table's minimum and maximum seating capacity; use the “Book Icon” to turn on (green) or off (red) reservations; use the table shape drop down box to change the table to a Booth, Rectangle, Round or Square. Rename the table by clicking in the box with the existing table number typing in a new number.
Tables – To select a Booth, Rectangle, Round or Square table, click on the blue box of choice. The table you choose will appear in the center of the screen, the default size will be 2 and accept reservations. Click, hold and drag to move to area of choice. Click and hold on the small blue square attached to the table with a line and move to the left or to the right to rotate the table. To Delete a table, click on that table to highlight it then press the delete key.
Things – Click on the blue “Host Stand” box and an icon will appear in the center of the screen. Click on the blue “Text" box and “New Text” will appear in the center of the screen. Highlight “New Text” and type the replacement description. Click on the blue “Wall” box and a line with three squares will appear. Move your cursor over the squares to reveal the action – either rotate the wall or extend the wall.
Click, hold and drag any "Thing" to move it to the area of choice. Click and hold on the small blue square attached to the "Thing" with a line and move to the left or to the right to rotate it. Click on any "Thing" to select it and then press the delete key on your keyboard to delete it.
It is a good practice to click the blue "Save" button in the lower left corner after every change, addition or deletion from the Dining Room floor.
